Improving......

Done with today’s Clinic visit and feed-back from the Clinic nurses and medical team was all good. All Florence’s symptoms are all expected and normal. From the skin on her palms and soles that feel sunburned and tight to just feeling so very tired is all normal. Over the next few weeks they said it will get better. Florence’s mouth is healed, her nausea only flares up once in a while, and her appetite is getting better.

Florence’s blood work is looking good and they are hoping that no more transfusions will be necessary. Today is Day +24. They also said that we may be released to go home next Monday. That would be very nice.

Later,
Larry

PS.Todays Lab Stats…
White Cells 4200 (4500 - 11000)

Platelets 46 (150 - 400)
No Blood transfusions since Nov. 7
No Platelet transfusions since Nov 15
** these are the ones we are waiting for, a sub-group of white cells that attack bacteria, etc.

Hey Florence -

You are in my thoughts constantly. I am so thankful you have Larry (and the squirrels) to take care of you.

This journey has been difficult and you have met it with strength and courage. You are one incredible woman.

I look forward to the day we can go to farmers market to buy flowers and stop by Boccharinis for hot chocolate.

Take care my dear sweet friend and come home soon.

Dear Florence:

Good numbers--they are coming up! You could post a sign over your head: "Quiet, please, patient sleeping. Neutrophils at work."

I hope you feel better from here . . . each and every day!

Nurse Susan sends her best from AGH.

Love,
Jeanne

Good Morning Florence and Larry - Looks like things are going good and you will be home soon. I am sure the two of you are looking forward to that. Keep drinking your fluids and getting the rest you need Florence. Watched any good movies lately? The Sisterchicks are saving our IKEA shopping extravaganza until you can go with us. Much love and many Hugs, Merla

Hi Larry and Florence:

I'll be thinking of you both during the holiday weekend. Stay positive, stay dry and warm, and keep those squirrels on their side of the campground! AND KEEP DRINKING!

I'm thankful this year to know our Florence is improving and that so many people are sending her their love and prayers.

love, JudyB
