My Dad has a chalk board in his shop that he used to list his paint contracting jobs on. Now that he's retired it is a place for his random thoughts and writing. He has awesome handwriting so I took this photo. (He lives in Florence, Or). I asked him to explain the 5 line verse and he said it was something he remembered from his "misspent youth." He always says that to me....

Thinking of Casey today.
A painting my Nana (Florence) painted many years ago. She gave it to Casey and now I'm passing it on to my niece Kylie.
Got up the nerve to take down Casey's bulletin board today. But took a photo of it first. These were some of his favorite things.... a postcard written to Casey from author Jon Krakauer, a postcard of Elvis, comic strips, a photo of my Dad, postcards from his Uncle Paul, a newspaper photo of his Uncle Wade, passport to Disneyland, school age photos of his father.....

You don't see Larry like this too often so I had to post this sweet photo! Our niece was in town on Sunday with her husband and 2 kiddies.
While watering my brother Paul's yard I took notice that the branch he grafted onto his apple tree has sprouted! One of his two OSU degrees, Crop Science, has paid off after 25 years! The other, Computer Science, he uses everyday at his job.
My friend (2nd Mom) Ione came home from Arizona with this little prize, a carved egg! A neighbor in the park where she and Wayne Winter made it.
