I had another Dexiscan to check the progress of Osteoporosis. My first report was that my bone density had not come back to a satisfactory level so I was going to have to go to a stronger medicine (either Boniva-once a month or Reclast- once a year infusion). I made an appointment with my Dr. to go over the results and talk to him about these two drugs, but I just got a call from his nurse that canceled that appointment. After further study of my scans they see an increase in density. I can continue with the Fosamax! I easily could not have been growing bone density fast enough and would have had to change to either of the drugs I mentioned above, and I soooo didn't want to take either of them. The Fosamax is working well for me, yah-hoo!
Here are some photos to celebrate~

When you've had cancer and lost all your hair - the silliest things become milestones! Here is a photo on the first day I could set my hair in hot rollers!!

Love to you all!
