When Life Gives You A Lemon....Just Sayin'

My brother Paul asked me if I'd like one of the two lemons he brought home from L.A. last week, and I thought, "I wish you had brought home more than two." Then he handed me one!!


No, it's not a grapefruit - I promise! There was 1 1/2 cups of juice in this thing!

When I Googled: How much juice in a lemon?

1 medium lemon equals approximately 1 tablespoon of lemon zest and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. You can extract more juice by briefly microwaving the lemon for 5 to 15 seconds before juicing.

HA! A measly 2 Tablespoons in a medium lemon. Paul and I wondered how the limbs on the tree could hold this large of fruit!!
