Pumps, Bags, and Sore Throat........

Today is Day +7….. Mouth still sore and the Doc says it will until day 10 to 14…. Ouch. Maybe she will be one of the lucky ones and start healing before her own cell counts come up. They upped the Morphine which helps allot but it still hurts. So needless to say she is snoozing most of the day.

She is getting blood and platelets today to keep her counts reasonable. Then there are antibiotics, antifungal, and more. Due to a 101f. fever she is getting her blood cultured. This occurred numerous times during her induction chemo. They cultured her blood every time a fever popped up to see if an infection has started.

Florence says she still feels good if it wasn’t for the throat and mouth soreness. So, good night for now and keep her in your thoughts and prayers…..
