I Made It and She's Doing Great.....

Hello from OHSU…. That’s right, they let me in…of course it required an all orifice cavity exam!!!!!!! And you all thought it was easy to get to stay here!!!!!!

Florence ‘s room is now better equipped for the season with a flashing lighted skull adorning her IV pump. The nurses first thought the pump had a lighting issue or gone bad until they got in close enough to see that it was a skull.

As for ‘The Florence’, she is looking good and feeling good. A little tired, she slept most of the day but tonight is awake and talking. Her stem cell transplant went extremely well, the doctor told me that they were very pleased with how uneventful it went. She is also getting a couple of units of blood today which is normal at this stage.

Oh, the exam thing …. Didn’t happen….

That’s it for now…. Larry

Hurray for uneventful! Flojo, you keep those cells circulating and in line. Tell 'em who's boss.

And Larry, watch what happens when you sleep...those night nurses will sneak up, and you won't know what will happen until you hear the snap of a latex glove.

Florence, what will you go as for Halloween? Hmmm...I know, a big White Blood Cell! Or, how about going as a patient so healthy they kick you out of 5C and send you packing to the squirrel RV park? Yeah, that'd be good...

Much Love,

Audrey

Couldn't be HAPPIER with the way it's going.
I like the idea of you getting kicked out by Halloween...
Keep your focus...
We'll keep praying.
